The Ch26 Dining Chair By Hans J. Wegner Came To Life In 2016. The Chair Is Part Of A Series Of Iconic Chairs That Wegner Created Exclusively For Carl Hansen & Søn In 1950. Together With The Ch22 Armchair, Wegner Had Created A Design To Translate The Shape Of The Armchair Into A Dining Chair, The Ch26. Yet He Never Actually Made A Model Of The Chair And It Remained Unknown To The Public For Decades. In 2016 Carl Hansen & Søn Gave Life To The Design Of The Ch26 That Recalls The Lounge Version, With Its Organic Shapes, The Refined Backrest And The Hand-Woven Seat, And Presents Ideal Proportions For Long Moments Of Sitting At The Dining Table Or At The Desk.
