The Shape Of This Stool Is Inspired By A Japanese Mushroom Of The Same Name, Which Is Born On Trees And Which, In The Native Language Of The Designer, Dutch, Means “Bench Of The Elves”. With “Shitake”, The Dutch Designer Experiments The Potential Of Rotary Molding On Plastic, To Create Decorative Motifs Embedded In The Material. The Visual Effect Is Fascinating: The Surface Is Entirely Covered With An Embossed Embroidery… Perfectly Resistant To Uv Rays And Atmospheric Agents, Shitake Can Be Used Both Indoors And Outdoors. The Inside Of The Stool Is Hollow And Closed With A Cap, So That It Can Be Filled With Water Or Sand. It Is Available In Different Colors.
